Government Agencies
& Seeking Help

I have a wide range of problems brought to my (political) surgeries by constituents: by phone, letter, e-mail, and in person.

If you need to contact me,

  • leave a message on my Kidderminster answerphone service on
    01562  75 33 33
(remember to give me your contact details)

  • telephone 020 7219 3000 -
the House of Commons Switchboard -
and ask for the office of Dr Richard Taylor.
  • send an on-line message
via the House of Commons e-service

  • write to me:
    Dr. Richard Taylor. MP.
House of Commons, London. SW1A 0AA.
A letter allows you to explain yourself in detail.
Please mention if this is a new or an on-going matter.

Immigration Issues
On-line Help

"I find Immigration issues take considerable time to resolve as the Border Agency has such a huge case-load - as well as a back-log they are still trying to cope with."

The UK Border Agency is responsible for securing the UK borders and controlling migration in the UK.
They manage border control for the UK, enforcing immigration and customs regulations.
They also consider applications for permission to enter or stay in the UK, and for citizenship and asylum.
The Identity Card system  is extended to sponsored skilled workers.

100,000 identity cards for foreign nationals have been issued since they were introduced in November 2008, and they are now being rolled out to more categories of migrant -
starting with skilled workers who are here under the points-based system.
