"An Appointment
with the Doctor" about
The Child Support
Agency (CSA)
I had hoped that when the CSA changed its name to the
"Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission" that it would
gain extra useful powers for extracting support from absent parents -
those who are unwilling to accept their responsibilities towards their
own offspring.
It has not been so easy.
Unfortunately, I am still battling with the Commission on behalf of
several parents who need the care and support they should expect from
this agency .. and, so far, the new powers have not been obviously
effective.

"We are tackling child poverty by
making sure that parents who live apart from their children contribute
financially to their upkeep by paying child maintenance."
