It is with great regret that we learn of the death of Geoff Harrison, husband of Jenny.

Jenny, as many of you will know, was one of the founder members of Save Kidderminster Hospital Action Group, along with her sister, Liz.
Jenny stood as a Councillor for us and has continued to support us by delivering leaflets.
For those who wish to attend, the funeral will take place at the New Crematorium on 15th February at 1pm.
At the request of the family, no flowers are requested - but donations instead may be made to the Air Ambulance.

AN INVITATION TO BECOME A MEMBER
FROM DR RICHARD TAYLOR
CHAIRMAN

Please consider joining Independent Community & Health Concern as a member.

We are a political party registered with the Electoral Commission and we believe strongly that there is an essential place for an independent voice aiming to represent local people on all matters without the restrictions and limitations put on the major political parties’ members by dogma and whips or gagging coalition agreements. We pride ourselves on working by consensus without a whip.
To further our aims we have successfully launched a formal membership scheme of our independent party.
This will enable us to fight future elections more effectively and gain more seats and thus influence on councils’ decisions, or even regain the leading role on the District Council.

In return for membership, fee £10.00 per person or per couple in the first instance, until 31 December 2011, and thereafter to be reviewed annually, we plan a quarterly newsletter, invitations to meetings with a themed topic every six to eight weeks and the opportunity to take part in policy, social and fund-raising events.
The membership would provide a pool of people, if willing, to help with leaflet deliveries to a few houses or roads of their choice from time to time.

If you would like to join us please send a cheque for £10.00
(payable to “Health Concern”) with names and addresses to
Gerald Wheeler, 139 The Grove, Stourport-on-Severn DY13 9NE
and we will give you a programme of our meetings and planned social events.

For more information please contact g.wheeler37@btinternet.com, or telephone 01299 822268.
