Aid for Developing Countries

It is vital that we continue to press the Government on the need to cancel third world debt and offer financial assistance, particularly to African countries with the HIV/AIDS epidemic. 

With education this can be lessened and with treatment the disease can be controlled as is shown by the long term survival of people in western countries. 

I have supported and will continue to support Parliamentary Early Day Motions and other measures addressing these issues that could be helped by the UK especially this year with our position on influential international bodies.
